Writing Our History

In 1980, the Club wrote a short history for the Club’s Centenary, and for the 140th Anniversary in 2020, we are producing a comprehensive Club History using a professional author, editor and publisher. It will cover all of the important events and achievements that have occurred over the lifetime of the club and provide an overview of where the club has come from and the key people involved in creating, maintaining and growing it.

We hope that the book will be of great interest to members and the wider community, and we would like hear from anyone who has photos, newspaper articles or stories of old bowlers and the Club.

We have also digitally recorded all our club records and photographs for posterity, and names will be searchable if you’re researching past members.
